About the Pastor

Sam Belony sums up his life with these 4 facts: 

 

1. Conceived in sin… 

2. Shapen in iniquity… 

3. Saved by grace through faith in Christ alone. 

4. Looking forward to glory! 

 

His life mission is derived from his favorite Scripture, Galatians 2:20: “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” (KJV). 

 

Pastor Sam received the call to the ministry in January 2018, and has since been privileged to serve the Havertown family. He loves the Lord Jesus Christ his Savior, believes in the veracity of His holy, inerrant Word the Bible, and has committed his life to teaching its truth in a simple, straight-forward way. He believes the Bible should speak for itself with no gimmicks. 

 

Pastor Sam is the author of The Audacity of Faith, and his literary work has appeared in periodicals such as the Adventist Review and Columbia Union’s Visitor magazine. Sam’s greatest aspiration is to be an effective instrument in God’s hands, contributing, even on a microscopic level, to the building up of His kingdom. His most esteemed privileges are the honors of being husband to Nahum Sissan Belony and father to Israel and Micah Belony.
